I am a certified yoga therapist, complementary sound therapist, a classically-trained musician, and teacher. I am devoted to facilitating the experience of harmony for my clients and students. I help people to restore well-being physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually by customizing the tools of yoga therapy and sound healing therapy to each person’s unique needs. This integral, salutogenic approach to well-being allows each person to experience more freedom from disharmony in body, mind, and emotions.

The VA's Circle of Health recognizes the important role complementary approaches to health, such as #yoga , play a vital role in addressing the wellbeing of the whole person. The Veterans’ Health Administration is the largest integrative healthcare system in the the U.S. 
I had the opportunity last night to listen to an #IAYT panel discussion on spirituality in healthcare. #Yogatherapy has always been a bio-psycho-social-spiritual model for health and wellbeing. Perhaps the private sector healthcare systems will soon accept yoga as medicine for whole person health too.

More than 1/3 of Americans who practice yoga are 50 years and older. Yoga has VAST potential to improve the way we age, and yet under-education among yoga teachers regarding the needs of aging populations can lead to injury.
